My name is David Roza and I am a journalist based in Oakland, CA. I write for Air & Space Forces Magazine, where I cover the U.S. Air Force and Space Force. I write about the lived experience of military service and the effects of Defense Department policy decisions on Airmen, Guardians and their families.

Before Air & Space Forces Magazine, I covered the same beat for Task & Purpose.

Prior to covering the military, I wrote about the FDA for Inside Health Policy and local news for The Ellsworth American, a weekly newspaper in beautiful rural Maine.
