Hi there!

My name is David Roza and I am a military reporter based in Washington, D.C. I work for Task & Purpose, where I cover the U.S. Air Force and Space Force. I write about the lived experience of military service and the effects of DoD policy decisions on service members and their families.

Prior to covering the military, I wrote about the impact of FDA’s changing regulatory policies on patients, industry and consumers in the medical device, food safety, and digital health sectors.

Before I reported on FDA, I wrote articles and took photographs about local politics, crime, arts and education as a general assignment reporter for The Ellsworth American, a weekly newspaper in beautiful rural Maine.
